We don't just source productsWe develop them

  • Design
  • Fabric
  • Wash
  • Production

NRM Textile Lounge designs and develops apparel for fashion brands, from the first sketch to the finished garment.

We work for brands in Europe and North America. Our own team researches trends, sketches, samples and develops washes. Then we take every piece through fabric, production and quality checks with factories we know well.

How an idea travels

Six steps. One team, start to finish.

  1. A hand pinning a denim swatch to a mood board of street photos, jeans sketches and fabric cuttings.

    Research & Design

Seasonal research, mood boards and market shopping set the direction for your range.

  2. Paper pattern pieces for jeans weighted on dark denim, a hand marking the edge in chalk.

    Sketch & Tech Pack

Every idea is drawn, measured and specified before a sample is cut.

  3. A hand sanding the thigh of light-blue jeans on a form in a wash room, dust lit by the window.

    Sampling & Wash

Protos, 3D virtual samples and wash development, until the look is right.

  4. A hand lifting a swatch from a stack of denim swatch books, tagged jeans hanging behind.

    Fabric & Trims

Our sourcing arm books fabric, trims and accessories, tested and costed.

  5. Hands guiding a jeans waistband under a sewing machine needle on a factory line.

    Bulk Production

Cutting, sewing and wet and dry processing in our partner factories.

  6. A hand smoothing a pair of folded mid-blue jeans, a tape measure laid across the waist.

    Quality & Shipping

Final AQL inspection, packing and export, on schedule.

Denim is our craftWash is our signature

Laser, ozone and hand finishing at our partners' wash plants let us develop a wash for each brand, then repeat it exactly across bulk.

Every wash is a recipe

We develop each wash in our sample room and write it down as a recipe: the stones, the chemistry, the minutes, the hand work. You approve it on your own fabric, and the same recipe goes to the wash plant with your order.

Beyond Denim

Denim is where we began, not where we stop. Shirts, knits, polos, outerwear, chinos, fleece and tees, developed with the same hand: sketched, sampled and made to your spec.
